Receiving and Tagging Guidelines

We are thrilled you are going to join us this season! We are privileged to have each of you and consider it a wonderful opportunity to minister to you and others, while having fun in the process!

RECEIVING:

1.  All items must be season-appropriate, current, name-brand clothing (no Target, Kohl's, Wal-Mart, etc.) While we all have many cute things from Target, Kohl's etc., please understand that, many times, we can all purchase these items brand new for consignment prices.

2. Items accepted include:

  • Fall/Winter clothing in excellent condition. REMEMBER, we will have a special Designer room for upscale items. (no pajamas, lingerie, swimwear, etc.)

  • Fall/Winter shoes in-style and in excellent condition.

  • Boutique maternity (upscale, boutique/designer maternity; please no Motherhood, Target, etc.)

  • Stylish purses in excellent condition.

Please inspect your items closely. We can only accept items in excellent condition with no stains, tears, missing buttons, etc. Any items not in excellent condition will be given back at receiving or donated.

3.  You will have the option to commit to pick up your items at a specified time or to donate any unsold items.

4.   A $6 participation fee will be due upon registration through this site

TAGGING:

*If you prefer to set your own price for your consigned items, please follow the guidelines below. Or, simply bring your items clean/pressed and on a WIRE HANGER, and we will gladly tag/price them for you!

Please understand that with limited spacing, all clothes MUST be on wire hangers with the crook of the hanger facing LEFT if looking straight at it. You will be asked to re-hang any items brought to us on plastic hangers. Your local dry cleaners will be GLAD to give you some if you run low.

SIMPLY CREATE AND PRINT YOUR TAGS FROM HERE, OR, HAND-WRITE YOUR TAGS ON WHITE CARD STOCK OR 3 ½ X 5 INDEX CARDS CUT IN HALF. PLEASE SEE EXAMPLE BELOW. PLEASE DO NOT USE COPY PAPER AS TAGS ARE EASILY LOST THAT WAY.

1.  If you are a returning consignor, your seller number is the last four digits of your home phone number and goes in the top left-hand corner of your tag. If you are a new consignor, our online registration system will assign a consignor number to you. We strongly encourage you to create a seller number that is easy to remember, preferably the last four digits of your phone number.

2.  Price all items to sell. Remember, this is an opportunity to minister to each other. Consider yourself a blessing to others by pricing items fairly. Plus, your items will most likely sell if they are priced well to begin with.

3.  All items must be priced in $.50 increments with nothing priced lower than $3.

4.  Be very specific when describing your items...brand name, color, pattern, etc.

5.  Shoes are always harder to tag...if possible, place shoes in a Ziploc bag. And, make sure each shoe has a piece of masking tape on the sole which includes your seller number and price in case they are separated.

6.  Use a safety pin to tag each item to the left chest/hip. IMPORTANT: Items must be on wire hangers only.

7. IMPORTANT:  Pants and skirts should be pinned to the TOP of the hanger. Please do not hang pants over hangers as they are likely to get separated from the outfit.

8.  If you DO NOT want an item to be marked ½ off on Saturday, make sure you write the price in
RED
ink/marker. All “black-tagged” items will automatically be offered at ½ off. If you are tagging items through our online system, you will be prompted to make these distinctions during the tagging process.
